I really mean it when I say messmaking.  I'm not sure you can see all the little crumbs of the pastel on my table in this photo, but it's true:

I mess around!

So I did this pastel drawing a few weeks ago already and I wasn't going to post because I wasn't happy with it, but it reproduces better than it is:) and I figure that I'm creating a historical record for myself anyway.....we shall see what I get to in the future.  My teacher said to draw my backyard view 100 times then see what happens so here is number 4!
